(no subject)

Sylvia just brought the CUTEST BABY EVER into the office. She has no hair, big, brown eyes, and this sweet, slightly dopey smile that just makes me want to take her and run away in the shuttle (which, admittedly, is not practical, as the shuttle goes approximately 0.00001 km/hour).

OMGBABY.

I think you maybe missed the point of my post.

That you want babies? Or that shuttles don't really go that fast? That was a cool bit by the way...

I think the sight, sound, and mere mention of babies is going to hurt for awhile. I'm going to ask nmy doctor about my condition and if it affects childbirth and babies in general.

Yeah, that's a good thing to know about.

I guess sometimes I get a bit wistful about babies. Maybe because my own chance of having one decreases so dramatically with every year that passes, because of PCOS (http://my.webmd.com/hw/womens_conditions/tw9104.asp).

Apparently, it's not a big deal but you just have to be cognizant.

*sigh* I always feel like such a selfish bitch whenever I mention babies around people such as yourself. A couple of friends have endometriosis and so they're in a similar situation.

You can always adopt! Man, you would make a cool geek-mom.

Don't feel bad. Not everyone is into having babies. It doesn't make you selfish, it just makes you a different person than me, which is okay. Because after all, you can have too much of a good thing. ;)

My dream is to have a son and teach him to knit. Because cool boys knit (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer05/PATThardcore.html).
