Apr. 20th, 2003 02:10 amSo here is my situation, everyone. Please feel free to render any advice you find helpful.
The problem is simple: there is a very, very nice hoodie sweatshirt bearing the name of the school where I did my undergraduate degree. My boyfriend currently owns the sweatshirt. I want the sweatshirt. He says that I have to "work on him" to get him to give it to me.
I've tried every method I know of (begging, cajoling, reasoning, demanding outright, being seductive, and trying to take it by force--the last of which was spectacularly unsuccessful) and yet there has been no sweatshirt forthcoming. I'm all out of ideas. My next tactic will basically involve going over to his apartment, opening his closet, taking the sweatshirt, and running away. However, precedent suggests that this will not work, as he is not only both faster and stronger than I am (a fact which was driven home rather palpably during the by-force attempt) but able to pick me right up off the ground and carry me.
Suggestions welcome, and indeed strongly encouraged.
