It's Friday, and, typically, there is no one in my office. So while I'm awaiting some e-mails back about projects I'm working on, I've been playing Twenty Questions. You all should play, except those of you who are busy eating too much Thanksgiving dinner and watching unendurable amounts of football.

Speaking of football, this weekend is the Grey Cup, which means that if any of my non-testicular buddies want to hang out, my social calendar is suddenly wide open.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] nolemonsnomelon, I think I'm catching your avian flu. I woke up yesterday morning and this morning feeling like shitty hell with a side of sore throat, and all day yesterday I was pissy and rude to people who are, for the most part, thoroughly unobjectionable. However, I still plan to draw the Unicron cartoon this weekend, and I plan for it to be super awesome.

The end.

Boss³, on the wording of the Manitoba social studies curriculum:

"'The Peopling of Canada'? Peopling? I didn't know peopling was a verb. How would you use that in conversation? 'Yeah, so the wife and I sent the kids to the in-laws so we could get some peopling done around the house.' Or maybe, 'Hey, baby, how'd you like to come back to my place later and people for a while?' That's just sad."

So I'm thinking of taking a one-day writing workshop with Helen Humphries that's being offered to grad students at my school. But I haven't done anything really substantial in terms of writing for so long that I kind of feel like a poser.

Just sayin'.
