Happy Fucking Birthday!

So yesterday was our opening day celebration/175th "birthday party" for the site. We had a speech from the superintendent, as well as protesters of dubious ancestry, cart accidents, sketchy visitors, and cake.

This is not the actual conversation I had with the protesters, merely the one I would like to have had. My side of the actual conversation consisted of me flipping the bird out of a passenger-side car window while leaving the site. Most of their side, however, went as reported below.

Protester of Doom: *is Chilean*
(Note: I know this because he used to work in the restaurant on-site.)
chavvah: Oh, puh-lease.
PoD: YOUR ANCESTORS ARE CRIMINALS!!
chavvah: Drunks, mostly.
PoD: You STOLE OUR LAND!!
chavvah: Dude. I've never even BEEN to Chile.
PoD: You RAPED OUR WOMEN!!
chavvah: For the above reasons and many more, I find this highly improbable.
PoD: You SUCK IN A GENERAL WAY!
chavvah: WTF? Does the phrase "first-generation Canadian" not hold any meaning for you? It should, seeing as how YOU ARE CHILEAN!
PoD: You are a MURDERER and a FIRST-CLASS SMARTY PANTS!!
chavvah: *yawn*
PoD: The HOLOCAUST STARTED HERE!
chavvah: OMGWTFBBQ? Buddy, white guilt is only going to carry you so far. Then you're just an ass with a sign.

Dude! Did he call himself "Dancing Bear"? If so, you should notify the cops because he's been kicked out of the museum several times. if he returns to the museum, he can be arrested for disturbing the peace and harassment.

This Dancing Bear came and protested at the Residential school exhibit a couple of months back and harassed one of our educators. If he goes back, I'd sic Forgie on him.

Wow. Not quite the ideal birthday, but hey. At least it's over.
